JOE
SCOTT
|
Joe Scott has been acting since he was
a child in local and school plays, eventually winning awards for
acting before he chose to focus his efforts behind the camera
with writing and directing and, other than appearing in the occasional
short film, set acting aside. With Ocean Front Property, he is
making his return to acting with the character of Rick Noonson. |
| Rick, at one time, was a riot.
His friends tell stories about the crazy stunts he pulled years
ago, the jokes he played. That was then. Today, Rick is a shell
of the guy he once was, devastated by a horrible breakup with
his ex-girlfriend, Valerie. It's been a whole year, but he is
still miserable and depressed over his loss. At the behest of
his good friend, Jordan, he returns to the beach house where he
and Valerie had spent many summers together, where he was more
happy than he'd ever been in his life. He's there to confront
his issues with Valerie. He had no idea that he would wind up
confronting her in person. |

LIZZIE
LANDER
 |
Lizzie Lander has extensive experience
in television and commercials, appearing in ads for McDonald's,
American Airlines, Nokia, and Nike. She has begun to make her
mark in local films with roles in The Anarchist and Twelve Hot
Women. She made an appearance in 2005's Coach Carter with Samuel
L. Jackson. Lizzie is also professionally trained by some of the
best acting coaches in both Dallas and L.A. It's Lizzie's beautiful
yet mysterious screen presence that makes her ideal for the part
of Valerie. |
| Valerie's parents own the
beach house, and through a scheduling mix-up, she winds up reserving
the house for the same week Rick did. The coincidence is as big
a shock to her as it is to Rick, but she refuses to leave out
of spite. Valerie is a very confused person. She has lived her
life without taking the time to find out who she is, instead being
content to adopt a new version of herself that best fits whatever
boyfriend she's with. She automatically adopts his likes and dislikes
as her own, eventually growing tired of this version of herself
and leaving the guy heartbroken. This is exactly what happened
with Rick, except she married the next guy. |

THAD
NEWTON
 |
Thad Newton has collaborated with Joe
Scott on previous projects, first in My Roommate, The Psycho,
then in Nine Minutes. He has shown that he can carry a dynamic
range of characters, from evil vampires to slug-like roommates
to action hero. He's adept at playing comedy as well as drama,
and has a screen presence that, as they say, "chews the scenery."
As good-natured as he is good looking, Thad seems born to play
the role of Pierre. |
| Pierre is mister perfect.
Good looking, built, suave, confident, he's so great, you just
want to hate him, but you can't. He's just too nice. He's the
ultimate ladies man, a consummate bachelor before he met Valerie,
he decided to marry her because he didn't think he would ever
find anybody that matched him as well as she does. He thought
it was fate. So, when he finds out that many of the things they
have in common are really just her adopting his likes and dislikes,
he has a decision to make. Either force her to come to grips and
find herself, or leave her before she does to him what she did
to Rick. |

JOHN
FRAZIER
 |
John Frazier has been acting locally for
over ten years, and has appeared in a number of films shot and
produced in DFW, including Pendulum, Small Big Tyme, and Universal
Soldier. He has also worked on commercials, industrials, theater,
and music videos. John has a presence that is tough and gentle
at the same time, both funny and tragic. These qualities are a
big part of the character of Stan. |
| Stan is Rick's oldest friend.
They practically grew up together. He is very protective of Rick
and is very uneasy about this little experiment. He sees the toll
it's taking on Rick and he doesn't like it. He also doesn't care
much for Valerie or her new husband for the obvious reasons. But
above trying to keep the peace in the house, Stan has his own
problem to deal with. His wife, Jordan, is sick. She has an infection
that is drastically hurting their chances to have children in
the future. So if they want to have kids, they have to have them
now. He's ready for one, but she's not sure yet. She can't choose
between her career and a baby. Even worse, she's suddenly become
hard to deal with. |

ERIN
MCGREW
|
Erin's easy and likable nature makes her
perfect for the part of Jordan. Erin has many years of experience
in both theater and film, as well as commercial and industrial
work. She appeared alongside Richard Gere in the film Dr. T and
the Women, and performed in the popular local film It's In The
Water. Erin is a veteran of over 40 theater productions and actively
studies with the same acting coaches that have turned Michelle
Pfeiffer and Dennis Quaid into stars. Also a talented musician,
Erin performs with the local improvisational comedy group, Lugo
and Long. |
| Jordan is a psychiatrist and
very, very smart. It was her idea to bring Rick back to the house,
but her plan seems to be backfiring on her. Jordan and Valerie
were best friends back in the day, and it is through Valerie and
Rick that Jordan and Stan met each other. When Valerie left Rick,
though, she left everybody, just packed up and moved away. So,
being confronted with her again is an unsettling experience. Plus,
the baby situation is taking its toll on her relationship with
Stan. She knows Stan wants a child, and is afraid that if she
can't give him one, he'll go somewhere else. So, she is subconsciously
pushing him away. The tension between them is very thick. |

ERYN BROOKE
 |
Eryn Brooke is a fresh-faced newcomer
who has already appeared in over 5 films. Her background covers
everything from corporate industrials to Shakespeare. She has
also been featured in national television commercials. Eryn has
been studying acting for over 3 years with some of the top coaches
in the area and is poised for big things in her near future. It's
her youthful appeal and stunning looks that makes her perfect
in the role of Lucy. |
| Lucy is quite literally the
girl next door. She lives in the next beach house over and Rick
knows her from the other summers he'd spent out there. But there's
a big difference in Lucy. She's blossomed from a young underage
girl into a gorgeous bombshell. Rick knows that she is way too
young for him, but has a hard time avoiding her as she has a crush
on him from the previous summers he'd been out there. She turns
up often, talking to Rick on the beach. She's very mature for
her age, and they both agree that they would be perfect for each
other if their ages were a little closer. At one point, she lies
about her age to get her way with Rick, but it backfires on her.
In the end, it's Lucy, a 15 year old girl with a crush, that is
able to put Rick's problem into perspective for him and help him
get over his issues. |
